This is our design layout. Our blog will consist of various reviews of music, tv shows and movies that we enjoy.
When deciding on
the layout of our website, we all agreed that the design had to be
user-friendly and easy to use. We believe our final design fills this criteria.
We decided on the basic black and navy blue font as we didn’t want the colours
to overpower the images in our posts. We also thought that these simple colours
and the font ‘Trebuchet' would ensure that the audience could easily read our blog.
The background
image we decided on a simple white sparkles photo, this image matches the colour
scheme of our blog in its simplicity. We believe this design allows the user to
focus on the content of our posts rather than be distracted by an overpowering
background image.
We also included
a poll on favourite tv shows to make the website more interactive with the
audience.
The menu bar
located on the right-hand side of the web site shows the archive of our posts
and allows the viewer to look through our history to easily navigate between
pages.
We also decided
to include images and videos in our reviews to further enhance the reading
experience for the viewer.
